Grant is a seasoned Category 1 road bike racer (this means he's pretty dang fast). He has competed in local, regional, and national level road races and criteriums since he was a teenager. He currently is riding for Bissell ABG Giant racing out of Indianapolis, Indiana. During his career he has won 4 state titles, and finished 3 of the last 4 road seasons ranked in the top 10 nationally for his category and in the top 5 for his age. While Grant has a solid background on the road, he has never been completely set-up to race Time Trials (TTs), until now!
"I would like place well at my first TT event in March, then make a run at Nationals and see if I can get on the podium. I'm also going to participate in my first Triathlon relay where I will ride the bike at the St Louis Tri. The last goal of the year is the State TT where I would really like to win."

How we plan to help Grant:
Besides the equipment, Swim Bike Run is the leader in the St. Louis area in the bike fit process. Specifically in the Triathlon and TT fit process. Using our expertise we will be able to take a high level athlete such as Grant, who has no background in this discipline, and help him work towards his goals by ensuring he is getting the most efficiency out of his position and equipment. Since Triathlons and Time Trials are individual efforts we will be able to track his growth throughout his journey to see how we have helped and how we can continue to help him progress as a rider.
